Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated:
MegaScenes is built for creative and commercial work. To keep it safe for everyone, some content and some uses are not allowed. This page lists them.
01Who this applies to
This policy applies to everything you do on MegaScenes: the prompts you write, the files you upload, the outputs you generate and how you use them. It is part of our Terms of Service. “We” means SIDEK GROUP DIGITAL LLC, which operates MegaScenes.
The models on MegaScenes are made by other companies, and each has its own usage policy. You must follow those too. Some of them are stricter than this page, and a model may refuse a request that this page would allow.
02Never allowed
These lead to immediate account closure and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
- Child sexual abuse material, and any sexual or sexualised content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor, whether real, fictional or generated.
- Intimate images without consent: sexual or nude images, video or audio of a real person who has not agreed to it, including “undressing” or face-swapping someone into sexual content.
03Real people and deception
- Deepfakes of real people without their consent: images, video or voice that make a real person appear to say or do something they did not.
- Impersonating a person, a company or an organisation, or falsely claiming to be connected to them.
- Disinformation about elections, voting or candidates, including fake content meant to mislead voters.
- Fraud, scams and phishing, including fake documents, fake reviews and fake identities.
04Harm to people
- Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of anyone.
- Hate: content that attacks or dehumanises people because of a protected characteristic.
- Extreme violence and gore, including torture and cruelty to animals.
- Instructions for making or using weapons, explosives or other means of causing serious harm.
- Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or encourages self-harm or suicide.
05Other people’s rights
- Infringing copyright or trademarks, for example uploading material you have no rights to, or generating content that copies protected characters, logos or works for use you are not allowed to make.
- Using someone’s face, voice or other personal data in a way that breaks their privacy or publicity rights.
- Using outputs to train or improve AI models that compete with the models you used, where the model’s maker forbids it.
06Using the platform fairly
- Trying to get around the model providers’ safety filters, for example with coded prompts or split requests.
- Using bots, scripts or other automation to access MegaScenes, or scraping it.
- Sharing your account, or using someone else’s account.
- Reselling or renting out access to MegaScenes, or offering it as a service to others.
- Reverse engineering MegaScenes, or interfering with its security or its servers.
- Creating or spreading malware, or using MegaScenes to attack other systems.
07Publishing what you generate
If you publish realistic AI-generated or AI-edited images, video or audio of real people, places or events that could make someone believe they are real (a “deepfake”), say clearly that the content is AI-generated, unless your use is purely personal and non-professional. For an evidently artistic, satirical or fictional work, it is enough to disclose it in a way that does not spoil the work. Outputs can carry invisible watermarks or metadata that mark them as AI-generated: do not remove or alter them.
08How we moderate
Requests are checked automatically by the model providers’ moderation systems. When a provider blocks an output, the credits go back to your balance automatically. We may review prompts, uploads and outputs that a provider flags or that people report to us.
If you break this policy, we may block the request, remove the content, suspend your account or close it, depending on how serious the breach is. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the authorities; we report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We cooperate with law enforcement when we receive a valid legal request.
If we block a request, remove content, or suspend or close your account because we believe it breaks the law or this policy, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that message or write to support@example.com with the subject “Moderation appeal”: give your account email, the decision and why you think it is wrong. A person, not an automated system, reviews every appeal, and we reply within 14 days. You can also take the matter to court.
09Reporting abuse
If you see content made with MegaScenes that breaks these rules, or someone has used your image or voice without consent, write to abuse@example.com. Do not attach illegal images; send a link, the generation reference or a description instead. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
